Nieuwe schoenen voor dakloze mensen

Since our founding, we have given away 2,598 pairs of shoes.

We are preparing for the next edition, where we will be conducting shoe campaigns in 20 cities together with the ANWB. In addition, we are building a partnership with Straatnieuws to give all of that newspaper's regular vendors new shoes as well.

The foundation's goal is to provide the homeless with new shoes during the winter period, while offering a full shopping experience. New shoes are not a given for everyone, and certainly not for these people. You can read how we came to establish this foundation here. here.

The shoes are paid for by donations from private individuals, SMEs, and various partners. In January 2025, we visited eight cities where we gave away shoes. Last December 2025, we started a second edition in which we ultimately visited 14 cities. In total, we have provided 2,598 people with new shoes and socks. That is 2,598 pairs of feet that are better protected against the cold and wet, preventing foot health problems. These are 2,598 people who were welcome in the store. That is not something to be taken for granted for people living on the streets. The ANWB is doing a great job!

We want to give everyone the chance to stand firm. And that is why, of course, we are continuing with this campaign. For the next edition, we want to visit 20 cities and all the newspaper vendors of Straatnieuws. That is more than 300 of them. Will you help too?
