Welcome to the website of the New Shoes Foundation.

The purpose of the foundation is to provide homeless people with new shoes during the winter season combined with a full shopping experience. New shoes are not something everyone can take for granted and certainly not our participants. Want to know how we set our first steps to create our foundation? You can read that here. here.

The shoes are paid for from donations from individuals, SMEs and various partners. We visited eight cities where we gave away shoes in January 2025. In total, we provided 757 people with new shoes and socks. That's 757 pairs of feet that are better protected from the cold and wetness preventing foot health problems. These are 757 people who were welcome in the store. This is also not a given for people living on the streets. The ANWB is doing a great job!

We want to give everyone a chance to stand firm in their shoes. And so, of course, we will continue this action. Next edition we want to give shoes to even more people. Will you help?
