The board of the New Shoes Foundation consists of:
Chairman
Jasper van Schie (1976)
Since 2002 catering entrepreneur in Delft. During the lockdowns in the corona period started delivering soup to lonely elderly people. There his social heart started to grow. Through a search for what help is all about he ended up in December 2023 at foundation Ervaring die Staat in Eindhoven and was involved in the first shoe action. He is a connector, organizer and a man of his word.
Secretary
Peter Mastenbroek (1949)
Studied economics at EUR, with a special focus on the relationship between economics and the environment. Now retired, after a joyful and meaningful, working life as a teacher at the university and in HBO. In his daily life he has tried to give hands and feet to justice, honesty, respect for people and environment and a small footprint (a certain sobriety). A contribution to New Shoes fits into that endeavor.
Treasurer
Joris Oostelbos (1982)
Delft aircraft engineer who nowadays creates innovative (IT) solutions for healthcare. Extensive experience as an analyst and project leader in hospitals, the GGD and GGZ. Since 2020 language volunteer at Samenspraak of Gilde Delft.
